Situated atop a hill overlooking the blue ridge mountains, up a driveway that doubles as an airplane landing strip, you’ll find our client’s simple — but certainly not basic — home! From the start, our Design team’s vision was clear: take the outdated (and under utilized) formal living room and create a usable game room and lounge space! So we went to work and incorporated a balanced color pallette using our favorite coastal colors in new paint, artwork and window treatments. Our hand picked furnishings from our in-house collection creates a soft and luxurious place to curl up with a book by the fire, or play a round of UNO! Heavily styled bookcases (we love a good full moment) flank the freshly painted fireplace and hearth, pushing our client out of her everyday box. We worked to pack a big punch into a small, and mighty room and boy did it pay off! This project has quickly become one of our favorite photo-worthy spaces and we’re thankful to have been a part of this transformation!
